Nikki Yanofsky may not be old enough to drive a car, but at 15, she’s got more than enough talent to drive a promising career.

At age 12, the Canadian singer became the youngest person to headline her own show at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Her career has skyrocketed since then—in the last three years, she’s played Carnegie Hall, contributed to an Ella Fitzgerald tribute album (alongside Ledisi, Queen Latifah, and Michael Bublé), and recorded the “Gotta Go My Own Way” bonus track in English and in French for High School Musical 2.

In early 2010, Yanofsky will release her first full-length solo album, produced by Phil Ramone and Jesse Harris—oh, and Feist is writing one of the songs.

Psst Psst: will feature an interview with Nikki Yanofsky upon release of her forthcoming album.
