August 2010 Top Picks!

Posted by cat eyes & skinny jeans on September 1, 2010

At this point, August 2010 is nothing more than a distant memory, inkpoppers; and as we wave goodbye to a month that, for many of us, was full of days spent lounging by the pool, we bid a fond farewell to a new batch of Top Picks (selected by you!) which are already on their way to the Editor’s Desk for review by the Editorial Board!

So what five (5) projects were voted most popular for August 2010? Find out below!

inkpop August 2010 Top Picks:

Rosewood by Evie J (Book – General Fiction / Mystery)

Because You Laughed by ElanorLawrence (Short Story – General Fiction / Mystery)

Before You by EmilyisSmiling (Book – Romance / General Fiction)

The Heart of Magic by TomW (Book – Science Fiction / Fantasy / Adventure / Horror)

The Roses of Cooraclare by drsheridan (Book – General Fiction / Historical Fiction / Romance)

Congratulations to the August 2010 Top Pick authors! Once the Editorial Board has had the chance to review your project, you will receive a critique and feedback from a HarperCollins Editor.

In the meantime…five slots now stand empty. Does your project have what it takes to be a September 2010 Top Pick?

Speaking of Top Picks…what was your favorite August 2010 Top Pick? Did you find yourself incapable of escaping the frightening town of Rosewood? Did you shed a tear while reading Because You Laughed? Were you blown away by the enchanting prose of Before You? Did you fall in love with The Heart of Magic? Did The Roses of Cooraclare sweep you into the past?
