Author Janet Evanovich wants you! Like James Paterson before her; Janet Evanovich, author of the New York Times bestselling Stephanie Plum series, is seeking three or four writers to co-author a novel with her. After the success of her first co-author effort Full Speed, which was written with Charlotte Hughes; Evanovich has made the decision to try the method a few more times. According to Evanovich, “There are tons of really good writers out there, but for one reason or another, they just have not had the support that allowed them to build audiences.” Evanovich wants to give them a chance – check out what she’s looking for in a potential co-author here! Barbara Robinson’s ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ marching to the big screen! Barbara Robinson’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever may have hit bookstores back in 1972, after originally appearing in McCall’s magazine; but even now, in 2010, it is winning over the hearts of middle readers and adults alike. One such adult being Walden Media CEO Michael Bostick, who has bought the feature rights to transform the bestseller into a box office classic. Though the book has already been the focus of both a play and made-for-TV movie in the 1980s; this will be the first time that it makes it to the big screen. Amanda Morgan Palmer will oversee production alongside Bostick, and Gerald R. Molen will be the executive producer. Walden Media is currently searching for a writer to adapt the book for film. Variety.
