Mead recently announced that August 2011 will mark the debut of a Vampire Academy spin-off series tentatively titled Bloodlines, which will follow the further adventures of the half-vamp/half-human bodyguard-in-training as she encounters vampy royal politics, and more creatures that go bump-in-the-night. Heck yes, I plan on reading the spin-off series Bloodlines. I’m very excited for that. The Vampire Academy series was/is epic. And as for I Am Number Four, I haven’t gotten to reading the series yet. So my excitement for the movie would be a zero. Lily Collins will make an okay Clary, not exactly the best. And as for Jace Wayland, I, like most, think that super HOT Alex Pettyfer should play bada** Jace 😀

I’ve actually never read any of these. XD But I am interested in the Mortal Instruments books. Are they worth reading?

I love the plot of Mortal Instruments. Sometimes the writing isn’t the best, but I still find the books amazing. So yes, they are worth reading in my opinion.
