‘The Little Prince’ like you’ve never seen him before! Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s The Little Prince, recanting the story of a tow-headed hero who found himself living out his days on an asteroid, has sold over 80 million copies since it first emerged in the literary world back in 1943. Though around for over five decades; The Little Prince’s popularity has never waned or faltered – thus the reason he is being revived for the Twenty-First Century in more ways than you ever thought possible. In addition to a total of 100 new titles associated with The Little Prince, to be released by a French publishing company; a video game is in development, in addition to a 52-part animated series which will target storylines such as sustainability and protecting the planet. As part of The Hub, a new cable station being introduced by Discovery Communications and Hasbro Inc.; is said to be a weekly, half-hour live-action series which follows a youthful cast of characters as they find clues and work together to solve mysteries. The missing piece to Dahl’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ Readers were introduced to many dreadful characters within the pages of Roald Dahl’s classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when it was first published back in 1964. The novel went on to spawn two films – 1971’s Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory starring Gene Wilder, and 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp – and introduced us to the spoiled Veruca Salt, vile Violet Beauregarde, gluttonous Augustus Gloop, obnoxious Mike Teavee, and the charming Charlie Bucket himself. But there were others. Before making it to press, Dahl had several other nasty children characters within Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s pages – children who didn’t make the cut.
